报告题目:Quantum entanglement and Bell nonlocality in particle physics

报告摘要:Quantum entanglement and Bell inequalities, originally formulated in the context of quantum foundations, have recently emerged as powerful concepts in particle physics. In this talk, I will present a systematic overview of entanglement phenomena in high-energy processes and discuss how Bell-type inequalities can be formulated and tested in realistic particle physics experiments. Particular emphasis will be placed on experimental observables and spin correlations that allow the extraction of quantum nonlocality in collider measurements. I will also review recent theoretical developments that connect entanglement to the structure of quantum field theory and QCD dynamics, including its potential relevance to nonperturbative effects and fragmentation processes. These observations open new possibilities for probing quantum information aspects of elementary particles and may establish entanglement as a novel experimental tool in high-energy physics.
报告人简介:岩斌,2012年本科毕业于重庆大学物理学院,2017年获得北京大学物理学院博士学位。2017年至2019年在美国密歇根州立大学做博士后研究员,
2019年至2022年在美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室担任博士后研究员,并获得 Director's Postdoctoral Fellow。2022年6月进入中国科学院高能物理研究所任副研究员。曾获中国科学院百人计划、国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金支持。研究方向为 TeV 物理唯象学,具体包括希格斯和顶夸克物理,标准模型有效场论,对撞机物理以及自旋物理等。迄今共发表学术论文50余篇,其中 Physical Review Letters 4 篇。
